The proposed power resistors are edgewound type, i.e. they consist of a resistive ribbon wound on a threaded ceramic tube.
A winding on the tube has two terminals between which are wound several turns that will determine the ohmic value of the winding (resistance in ohms).
Several resistive windings can also be mounted on the same tube in order to optimise space and cost of a set of resistors.
The ends of the windings, placed side by side, can be connected or isolated to each other, as you want.
